About
I first tried photography in 2022, cruising through two rolls of 35mm film on the cheapest camera available. The wonderful staff of Pro Camera developed my work to reveal… well, nothing. Turns out direct sun exposure is not ideal. Although I'll never know what was on those rolls, the process and experience of finding the perfect moments to capture kept me hooked. From then on I've aimed to document all my life experiences on film, determined to bring the most out of each exposure.
Today I shoot nearly everything on a Canon AE-1 with 28 and 50mm lenses. I bring along a Nikon L35AF for quicker shots and use a Minolta SRT100 from time to time. I like to try all kinds of film, but my favorites are Cinestill 400D and Kodak Gold 200.
Pro Camera in Charlottesville is my lab — incredible staff, incredible quality. They develop and scan all my film, and they also produce the archival fine art prints available on this site for purchase. I wouldn't trust my negatives anywhere else.
